Privacy Policy

We are pleased about your interest in our website. Protecting your personal data is very important to us. Below we inform you about what data is collected when you visit our website and for what purpose.

All personal data are collected and processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

1. Responsible party

Responsible for the website within the meaning of data protection laws (GDPR) is:
Semantic Hub SA
Av. d'Ouchy 4
1006 Lausanne
Switzerland

The servers where data is stored are located in Germany.

Switzerland has an adequate level of data protection according to the EU data protection legislation, so transfers can occur without additional safeguards under specific conditions (Art. 45 GDPR).

If you have any questions regarding data protection, please feel free to contact our Data Protection Officer Andrew Demin at ad@semantic-hub.com

2. General Information on Data Collection

We do not intentionally collect personal data when you browse the website.

There is no registration required, and the use of the website is limited to accessing information and viewing the embedded map with participating treatment centers.

In addition, we provide a contact form that allows users to contact the website owner in case of any issues. When using this contact form, only the email address and/or WhatsApp number provided by the user is collected and transmitted.

The transmission of data is voluntary and takes place only after the user has given explicit consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The collected email address and/or WhatsApp number is used exclusively for the purpose of processing the respective inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

Personal data and contact requests are retained only for as long as necessary to process your request and are deleted thereafter unless legal obligations require longer retention.

3. Server Log Files

For technical reasons, information can be automatically transmitted when accessing websites (e.g., IP address, date and time, browser used). The legal basis for temporary storage of data is Art. 6 (1) f of the GDPR (legitimate interests). This data is temporarily stored by the hosting provider in order to ensure the secure operation of the website and is then automatically deleted. The data is not associated with any specific individual.

4. Location Search via OpenStreetMap

Our website uses the OpenStreetMap (OSM) service, operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, to display map content.

Data transfer between the UK and Germany is permitted under the UK and EU data protection laws, as the European Commission has granted the UK an adequacy decision.

To search for a suitable treatment center, users can enter the desired location or a postal code. This input is processed solely for the one-time search and is not stored by us. The data is transmitted to OSM servers in order to display the corresponding map section.

For more information on data processing by OSM, please see the OSMF Privacy Policy: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

5. Cookies / Tracking

Anonymized user statistics

We collect anonymized statistical data about the use of our website in order to analyze its usage and technical functionality and to continuously improve the website. This data doesn't contain any personal, user-level information, is not used for advertising or marketing purposes and is not shared with external analytics or tracking services.

Cookies

We do not use cookies on our website. The anonymized statistical data described above is collected without the use of cookies.

6. Rights of Data Subjects

Under the applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

  • Access to the data we process about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Deletion of data (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

Since the inputs for the location search are not stored permanently, these rights are only of limited relevance in practice.

Should you have any questions, requests or concerns or would like to exercise your rights related to personal data and data protection in any other way, please contact our Data Protection Officer:
Andrew Demin, ad@semantic-hub.com

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed to reflect legal or technical changes.
